Stack Field Guide reviews software so you don’t have to test everything yourself. This page explains how we choose what to cover, how we evaluate tools, and how we keep our recommendations honest.
What We Evaluate
For every tool we cover, we look at the same core set of factors:
- Core features — what the tool actually does, and how well it does it.
- Ease of use — how quickly someone new to the category can get value from it.
- Pricing and value — published plans, free tiers or trials, and what you get at each price point.
- Integrations — how well the tool fits into a broader stack.
- Support and documentation — the quality of help resources, onboarding, and customer support.
- Limitations — where the tool falls short or isn’t the right fit.
Our Sources
We base our guides on official product documentation and pricing pages, hands-on use of the tools where possible, and publicly available user feedback. When information changes, such as pricing or features, we update our content to reflect the current state of the product.
Categories We Cover
We focus on four categories: AI Video, AI Voice, Automation, and Funnels & Business Software. Staying focused lets us go deeper on the tools that matter most to the founders and marketers we write for, rather than spreading thin across every software category.
Editorial Independence
We may earn an affiliate commission when readers sign up for a tool through links on our Site, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. Commission potential does not determine which tools we recommend or how we rank them. We aim to give the same assessment whether or not an affiliate relationship exists.
Updates
Software changes quickly. We review and refresh our guides periodically to keep pricing, features, and screenshots current. If you notice something out of date, let us know at editorial@stackfieldguide.com.
